BioGreetings! I am back in Portland, Oregon, connecting with a most beautiful, heart-connected, integrity- nurturing, supportive community of dancers, artists, musicians, writers and revolutionaries. I am currently working on a book based on the 6 month sojourn I undertook last year around the globe.
My trip was inspired in part by The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, wherein a young man follows signs and portents to seek out his "personal legend"; a smattering of what i am in search of for myself. I wish to be out in 'the world', away from all of my routines, habits and normalcies in order to strip away this cultures, conventional, ego-personality shell from my essence and to discover who this person that I see in the mirror really is. To be in new places amongst new people, new cultures, and strange everything to challenge myself in ways I can only imagine in order to see who I am based upon my interactions, reactions and impacts such situations evoke, repulse or inspire in me. To learn, to grow, to evolve.
